Plant tours at Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa are conducted to provide stakeholders the opportunity to witness the heartbeat of our organisation.
Visitors to the Silverton Assembly Plant in Pretoria, or the Struandale Engine Plant in Port Elizabeth will experience some exhilarating moments as part of a guided tour through the world-class Ford plants.
Due to the demand, plant tours must be booked at least three months in advance. Visitors who do not get a booking are able to get a sneak peak of both our plants here:
The visit will entail a presentation, safety briefing and a one-hour plant tour. Visits are for free and conducted on a Tuesday and a Thursday only at 11h00 - 13h00, at the Silverton Assembly Plant, Simon Vermooten Road, Silverton, Pretoria and Struandale Engine Plant, Struanway, Struandale, Port Elizabeth.
